Golden Spoons is an out-of-this-world take on the classic Spoons card game and is packed with fun, fast-paced action for the whole family. Become Wormhole Willie, Princess Photon or other spacey characters in a race to Mars. Those brave enough to accept their mission will need eagle eyes, fast hands, sharp elbows and cat-like reflexes to outmaneuver the competition.
Leave your spoons in the kitchen. In this game you attempt to match 4 cards in order to snatch mission tokens. The winner is the first to complete their mission by collecting all 5 mission tokens. Be fast or wind up empty-handed.
There are several alternative ways to play, including:
- Go Wild: Include wild cards in the deck of playing cards.
- Wild Hazard: Penalty for unused wild cards at end of each round.
- No Free Riders: Tokens can only be grabbed by players with a 4-of-a-kind.
- Warp Speed: Reduce requirement to 2, 3 or 4 mission tokens to win.
- Dealer Privilege: Win the right to be next dealer.
- Secret Mission: Keep mission cards hidden during game play.
- Classic Spoons (Long): Ditch the mission cards and use any tokens to play the classic version.
- Classic Spoons (Short): Fail to grab a token in a round and you are eliminated.
- Bluffing: Penalty for grabbing a token when there are no 4-of-a-kinds.
- Extreme Reach. Place tokens in distant locations, not on the table.
